Preliminary sketches of the proposed buildings
Sakofall has signed a land allocation agreement for two properties in central Surahammar that enables the construction of up to 40 homes. Sakofall will build the buildings in its significant style with elements from the early 1900s and 1920s. The buildings are planned to be built entirely in wood and with varying horizontal / vertical panels, mullioned windows and black steel details.
"It feels great to establish ourselves outside Dalarna County for the first time. The properties are located in central Surahammar in a great location and only 15 minutes from the Erikslund shopping area in Västerås. We believe that our concept can be a good addition to Surahammar's housing market," says the company's CEO, Tom Sakofall.

About Sakofall:
Sakofall is a housing developer that builds in a classic style and with a special focus on smaller towns and rural areas.
We want the countryside to be alive, and we want to be part of it. In addition, many people see the benefits of living in places other than the Big City today.
When we build nice homes, more people have the opportunity to move to the countryside, and more people have the opportunity to sell their houses to make room for new families. Win, win, win.
